In this form different settings are gathered:
This dialog box allows the definition of other intervals/temperaments than those of the equally-tempered scale.
For each of the 12 notes, you can select a relative interval in the list. Relative intervals are predefined for:
It is also possible to enter your own fractional / decimal interval for each note.
Please note that all these settings are still relative to the pitch of the instruments you use, and that they apply only to the current song.
This form lets you modify the settings of the sound output.
Preferences are organized in 4 categories, accessible from the popup list at the top of the screen.
Auto save. When this function is enabled, the current song is saved in RAM with the name "autosave" every n minutes. You might want to use this after having experienced a crash, and before the release of the corresponding fix/update...
Restore last session saves and restores the current page when you quit and launch the application. Moreover, your song will be saved in RAM everytime you quit the application, and reopened when you launch it again. This setting will increase the loading and unloading time of the application, as well as the amount of memory it requires in RAM.
When Load samples in storage heap is enabled, samples are loaded in the storage heap and you are no longer limited to the actual amount of dynamic heap memory available. This may not work on some devices ; and editing can be slower.
The Stereo samples loading popup list allows you to select a default action when opening stereo samples (for example, you can, by default, load a mix of the left and right channels). If you prefer using the traditional dialog box asking you what to do with the stereo sample, you can select the last option, Ask....
